Čepkelių raistas
- 65273 Varėnos r.
We visited Čepkeliai in the summer of 2019, and I remember well that I learnt from my friends how amazing the scenery is there, especially the sounds, which you have to arrive as early as possible in the morning to hear.
So we booked a guide, the guide coordinated the details with the park, and after packing up our stuff, we were there early in the morning, maybe at 6:00 am (If possible, go before 5:00 am or so) Spring is the best time to hear the abundance of birds and animals. We were really surprised and didn't believe that we could see such nature here in Lithuania.
P.S. Access to the site is only possible with park rangers/guides. More information.
