Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a hard-core workaholic. I know, you convinced me anyway, even though you kicked hard.
People like me need to have their internet, phone and computer taken away, at least for a few days.
A glass of prosecco and a book are thrust into your hand.
I remember a few years ago, in the midst of my regular burnout, Dovilė took me to a spa and took away all my communication devices. I was offline for two days.
Can you imagine how stressful it is to be without your phone for 10min?!
Maybe someone is looking for me, maybe clients are calling? Maybe something is wrong with the children? Maybe someone needs help?!
You have to have a phone, in your pocket, in your hand, next to you!
Guess what… I suffered for half a day, I felt like I was out of place… then I thawed out, got a couple of massages, and spent some time in silence.
As I remember now, we’re sitting in the sun, Dovilė is sunbathing, I’m hiding under a towel, because if I get any tan, it’s guaranteed to be red, followed by the skin peeling off my all-white and red body. In a word – bad.

And we talk about how nice it would be to have a place like this – a place where you come and you can get away from everything, from work, from worries. You can just be here and now.
So 2 years have passed. And we are here… and now… in the EAR.

Amber.
