I started dreaming about such a place when I used to spend my summers in an A-shaped house in the Merkinė district. On the shore of the lake, there is a beautiful pine forest, like a park, full of squirrels. Of course, it’s full for those who know how to mushroom. And me, a mushroom fanatic. So I used to drive several times a day. One. It was quiet, because you just walk behind the hut and you’re already collecting. I knew my guests.
It was a special place, I used to call it Vilyte. So the time has come, and now I have my own villa. EARLY. It was only when I came here that I realised what I had wanted for so many years. What a rest I longed for.

Nature, tranquillity, lake, mushroom forest, pine trees, A-shaped house and aura. And it just is or it isn’t.

There is a lot of forest in AUŠRINĖ, so who will spend their free time here, or maybe the trendy thing these days is a work holiday, but people will be quiet. There is so much space that outsiders rarely drop in. Unless you have a friendly neighbour who just wants to chat or have a chat. Sometimes I hear a tractor or a combine harvester, but more often I hear the songs of cranes.

Working, working, working. I thought I’d take a nap. Without saying anything to anyone, I sneaked off into the woods. Or maybe there are mushrooms.
I walked right next to the lake. It’s scary to go far. I like mushroom picking, but I’m not very good with ornithology, so I don’t try my luck and keep a safe distance. So I go into the woods for a bit and start collecting. And I’m not ready. Neither a bag nor a pouch. I had a scarf on my head, so I stuffed this pile into it.
The moment I saw so many mushrooms, it was not that I was lucky to have found mushrooms, but that I was lucky to have found such a close place. The memories of the fairy came back and I was once again convinced that AUŠRINE came to me with all my dreams and ideas of how things should be.
